Mentorship Program - Terms of Service

Terms of Service (ToS) are important because they set clear expectations and protect both parties in a mentorship program. They outline roles, responsibilities, and the code of conduct, helping to prevent misunderstandings.

ToS also provide legal protection, manage expectations, and ensure that all interactions remain professional and respectful. In essence, they create a safe and structured environment for a successful mentorship experience.

Mentorship Program - Terms of Service

1 - Introduction
Welcome to Tarmunds Private Mentorship. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your participation in our mentorship program. By enrolling in or participating in the mentorship program, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not participate in the program.

2 - Mentorship Services
The mentorship program aims to provide guidance, advice, and support to mentees through experienced mentors. The services offered may include, but are not limited to, one-on-one sessions, group workshops, webinars, and other related activities.

3 - Eligibility
Participation in the mentorship program is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria, if defined for the mentorship. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet these criteria and are legally capable of entering into this agreement.

4 - Mentorship Relationship

  • Non-Employment: Participation in the mentorship program does not establish an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between mentors and mentees or with Kostia Perry.

  • Non-Liability: Mentors provide advice based on their experience, but they are not liable for the outcomes of any decisions made by mentees.

5 - Confidentiality

  • Information Sharing: Both mentors and mentees agree to keep confidential any personal or sensitive information shared during the mentorship sessions.

  • Non-Disclosure: Participants agree not to disclose any proprietary or confidential information learned during the program without explicit permission from the involved parties.

6 - Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to act with respect, professionalism, and integrity. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination from the program.

7 - Termination

  • Voluntary Withdrawal: Either party may terminate the mentorship relationship at any time by providing written notice to Kostia Perry. However, the refund in that case will be proportional to the time spent on the mentorship.

  • Program Termination: Kostia Perry reserves the right to terminate the mentorship program or a participant’s involvement in it at its sole discretion.

8 - Intellectual Property
Any content or materials provided by the mentor during the mentorship program are for personal use only. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without explicit permission from the creator.

9 - Disclaimer
The mentorship program is provided on an "as is" basis. Kostia Perry makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the effectiveness or outcome of the mentorship provided.

11 - Amendments
Kostia Perry reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Notice of changes will be provided to participants, and continued participation in the program will constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

12 - Refund

  • If the mentee has paid for the mentorship and is unable to complete it, the mentee can request a refund before the beginning of the mentorship.

  • If the mentorship is terminated by the mentee during the mentorship period, the refund will be partial, proportional to the length of the mentorship completed by the mentee, if accepted by the program owner.

13 - Mentor Commitment
Mentors agree to fully engage and participate in the mentorship program for the entire duration as agreed upon with Kostia Perry and the mentee. This includes attending scheduled sessions, providing guidance, and offering support as outlined in the program. Mentors are expected to fulfill their responsibilities with professionalism and diligence. In case of unforeseen circumstances that prevent the mentor from fulfilling their commitment, they must promptly notify Kostia Perry to discuss alternative arrangements.

14 - Mentee Commitment

  • Self-Delays: Mentees cannot self-delay a call. If a mentee is unable to join a scheduled session, they cannot reschedule or recover it unless agreed upon with the mentor. If unable to attend, the session will be considered lost.

  • Tracking Progress: Mentees are encouraged to post their progress regularly to keep mentors updated on their work. This helps to maintain effective mentorship.

  • Medical Issues: In the case of a medical problem or emergency, the mentor may delay a call for up to one week. A rescheduled call will always occur afterward, ensuring that the mentee’s mentorship continues uninterrupted.

14.1 – Mentee Engagement and Follow-Up
Mentees are expected to remain actively engaged in the mentorship process. If a mentee fails to follow up with their work or does not respond or take initiative to schedule upcoming sessions after multiple reminders, the mentor is not obligated to continue reaching out. In such cases, the mentor may reasonably assume that the mentee is no longer interested in continuing the mentorship. No refunds will be issued for sessions missed due to a lack of communication or initiative from the mentee.

15 - Availability of VODs
All VODs of mentorship sessions will be available for download. Mentees will have access to these recordings to review and improve upon their work. During and After  the mentorship.

15.1 - Use of Recorded Sessions
Mentorship sessions may be recorded by the mentor. These recordings can be shared later in private, public, or commercial formats (e.g., for sale), but only under specific conditions:

  • Mentor-Created Content: Recordings or excerpts that include general explanations, technical demonstrations, or examples created solely by the mentor may be used or sold at the mentor's discretion.

  • Mentee-Created Content: Recordings that are based directly on a mentee’s work, feedback, or progress will not be sold or commercially distributed. However, they may be shared for educational or promotional purposes, provided that proper credit is given to the mentee.

16 - Sharing and Displaying Work.
Any work produced during a mentorship or course program may be shared and displayed by the mentor on social media or other platforms, with proper credit given to the artist. This helps to increase visibility for the mentee and showcase their progress publicly.
